1. Roll out of new Windows 11 computers

Our client was running from aging computer with an operating system coming close to falling out of support with Microsoft. Protec audited the current computers, their setup, applications, configuration and network details. Protec implemented Lenovo Think Centre computers running Windows 11 operating from high speed M2 SSDs. All computers were setting in advance of physical deployment to the client. The users were invited to check over the new computers to ensure they were operational from day one and have all application required. This type of deployment provided for minimum downtime to the client.

2. Remote access with secure MFA/2FA protection

Protec implemented a secure remote access solution (backed up with MFA/2FA protection) to allow the user base to connect to their office computers when remote. This is further backed up with a secure VPN tunnel to ensure all traffic is encrypted in transit.

3. Meeting room Teams screen

Protec provided our client installation services for a dedicated Teams/Zoom computer to allow the users to run video calls. The setup allowed for all users to log into the device and obtain their meeting specific connection. Video was provided by way of a high quality wide angle webcam.

4. Backup and Data Retention

To ensure the protection of the business critical data Protec implemented a number of backup solutions, a combination of on-prem and cloud based to ensure the business is protected and have numerous available restore points in the event of a restore requirement. Protec also implemented an end-of-year backup which is securely stored by Protec offsite.
