The Project Web Trends Assigned to Us

Webtrends have an EMEA office in Staines with approximately 20 PC’s and 40 laptops running in an windows server environment. With the company head quarters and the main IT department located in the US they had an issue delivering onsite 1st and 2nd line support.

What we did

Protec provides an 1st line Microsoft certified support engineer 2 days per week at their EMEA office. The engineer undertakes all duties from basic computer setups through to server and network repairs and installs. Protec also makes visits outside of the two day agreement for any emergencies situations.


Webtrends now benefits from having onsite IT support for their infrastructure at a fraction of the costs of a permanent or even part-time employee. This provides the employees with stable computer systems and helps maintain computer uptime. They also benefit from the backing of the other Protec engineers if extra resource is required.
